Found in a barn where it had been laid up for the last 12 years this Mark 2 VW Scirocco GTI is now at Transporterhaus. The scirocco is in good shape and very original with 2 piece GTI only parcel shelf, MLA dash board and early Mark 2 single wiper. In a few pieces and laid up after running problems Transporterhaus had her running again within a couple of hours after hot wiring the fuel pump, which would not run. A new fuel pump relay, fuse and some repair to a burnt connector block fixed the starting problem. Next in for mot and some TLC on a sick MFA. No brake lights. Fixed by a new brake light switch in the master cylinder.Gears like stirring porridge! Fixed by a new bush kit. Full service - air filter, oil filter, fuel filter, oil change, distributor cap and rotor arm, ignition leads, cam belt and tensioner, battery. New rear brake cylinders and rear wheel bearing. |

Another cali import. The remit was to find a late westy bus with a 2 berth roof conversion and new interior. We tracked this bus down with it's tired original interior and spluttering engine before giving it some much needed TLC in the workshop. New canvas, 4 ball joints, new bumpers, new rubbers, 240v hook up leisure battery, ICE, custom interior painted body colour. With a 2 litre injected lump this bus really flies. |
